Refund & Cancellation Policy
At Renova Aesthetics Institute, we recognize that unforeseen circumstances can arise, potentially requiring the postponement of your surgery. However, please be advised that such changes impact not only your surgeon but also other patients who rely on timely access to our services. The time and resources of our surgical team—including the surgeon, anesthesiologist, surgical assistants, and circulators—are valuable. Therefore, we respectfully ask for your cooperation in adhering to the following policies.
Rescheduling Policy
You may reschedule your procedure without incurring any charges once if you provide at least one month’s notice prior to your scheduled surgery date. Any requests to reschedule made after this period will be subject to the terms outlined below.
Cancellation Policy
To cancel or reschedule your procedure, formal written notice must be provided at least one month in advance of your scheduled surgery date. No exceptions will be made to this requirement. Failure to provide proper notice will result in a nonrefundable cancellation fee of $1,000, which will be retained by Renova Aesthetics Institute.
Day-of-Surgery Cancellations
In the event your surgery is canceled on the scheduled procedure date due to the use of alcohol, drugs, nicotine, or any other illicit substances, a $1,500 Operating Room (OR) Fee will apply. Your procedure may be rescheduled at your discretion once the balance has been paid in full.
Health-Related Cancellations
If you experience any of the following symptoms prior to surgery, please notify us immediately:
- Cold, flu, or COVID-19-like symptoms
- Cuts, scrapes, or sores that have not healed
- Significant changes in your health status
Such conditions may require rescheduling, and your surgeon or anesthesiologist will evaluate the situation to determine whether your surgery needs to be postponed.
Preoperative Requirements
- Medical clearance and preoperative testing must be completed and submitted to our office at least 10 days before your scheduled surgery.
- If your primary care physician or another healthcare provider is conducting your preoperative testing, please ensure that the necessary clearances and documentation are sent to us in a timely manner. Delays in receiving these documents may result in the postponement of your surgery, as our schedule is often fully booked for several weeks.
Accuracy of Information
If your surgery is canceled on the procedure date due to false or misleading information regarding your Body Mass Index (BMI) or if a high BMI was not disclosed during your preoperative evaluation, a $1,000 cancellation fee will apply. We kindly ask that all information provided to our office be complete and accurate to avoid unnecessary cancellations and associated fees.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our surgical schedule. By adhering to these policies, you help us ensure that our resources are managed effectively, benefiting all of our patients.
